March 9, 2025 (EIRNS)—Around midnight on Saturday night, March 8, Secret Service was alerted to the presence of a vehicle parked about a block away from the White House in Washington, D.C. When officers approached the vehicle, the man brandished a firearm and shooting ensued. The suspect was injured by gunfire and taken to a hospital, but no officers were injured, according to a statement by the Secret Service.
