Sweden, Finland Announce New Boosts in Military Support to Ukraine

March 14, 2025 (EIRNS)—While President Donald Trump talks peace, the Nordic countries are boosting their weapons flows into Ukraine. Sweden will purchase Archer self-propelled artillery systems and Arthur counter-battery radars for Ukraine as part of its 18th military aid package worth$295 million, reported European Pravda news outlet yesterday. The Archer is a 155mm gun mounted on a Volvo-made truck. Additionally, Stockholm intends to join the artillery coalition within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
