March 15, 2025 (EIRNS)—As of yesterday, Ukrainian Acting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicated zero interest in saving his troops whom the Russians have currently surrounded in Kursk. As reported by Ukrinform, Zelenskyy was translated as having said: “The situation in the Kursk region is clearly very difficult. The task of the Kursk operation was to draw troops from Pokrovsk, Kharkiv direction and Sumy. Our guys are absolutely heroic, they took such a strong blow.” Further, a variety of Kiev’s military analysts, as of last evening, were denying any encirclement of Ukrainian troops in Kursk, explaining that the Kursk operation was a success and that the Ukrainian troops there may now create a buffer zone on the border.
