The independent German website NachDenkSeiten has published a detailed review of The Multipolar World, a 2024 book written by Schiller Institute contributor Stephan Ossenkopp. The book comprises 62 short essays chronicling major geopolitical developments in the BRICS nations and the Global South throughout 2024.
“The author—a volunteer at the Schiller Institute—succeeds in describing the most important events of the year 2024 in the BRICS environment and in the Global South on 288 pages in 62 ‘short reports.’ These are often topics that have been omitted in the German-language media. These regions are experiencing a dynamic upswing—as the book testifies—characterized by ambitious infrastructure projects, technological innovations and accelerated economic growth. The common goal is to quickly overcome the consequences of decades of underdevelopment through trade and industrialization.
