Chinese President Concludes Visit to Malaysia, Arrives in Cambodia

President of China Xi Jinping has arrived in Cambodia, his final stop on a three-nation visit that included Malaysia and Vietnam—his first international trip of 2025.

In Malaysia, Xi met with King Sultan Ibrahim and held talks with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The two sides signed over 30 bilateral cooperation agreements. Xi outlined three priorities: upholding strategic independence, pursuing joint development, and expanding cultural ties. A major step in the latter came with new agreements on visa-free travel.
