Extremist Israeli settler social media are now circulating widely an AI-generated video depicting the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Islam’s third holiest site, bursting into flames and disappearing, as a golden Third Temple rises in its place.
Emblazoned at the end of this AI “vision” are the words, “Next year in Jerusalem…. Messiah Now” (in Hebrew), a slogan commonly associated with messianic Jewish groups seeking full religious control over the Temple Mount, Haaretz explains. The video is reported to have been first posted on April 21 by the fundamentalist group Temple Mount Activists, “part of an umbrella movement of Jewish extremists who share the stated goal of establishing exclusive Jewish religious control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.”
The roots of this dangerous operation, however, are not found in Southwest Asia, but trace back to London. In our December 2000 Special Report, “Who Is Sparking a Religious War in the Middle East?,” EIR documented that the entire Temple Mount operation “is being run, top-down, by the most lunatic elements within the highest levels of British Freemasonry—with the blessing and involvement of members of the House of Windsor.”
