Although leading politicians of the new German government have already ruled out any effort to repair the Nord Stream gas pipeline, it turns out that Germany continues to store spare pipes which could be used for its repair. As Ostsee Zeitung has reported, the stockpile is reportedly large enough to fully repair the damaged sections of the Baltic submarine pipeline from St. Petersburg to Germany.
