Maybe formally, but content wise not. Germany’s Acting Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (SPD), who will probably stay in his job in the next coalition government, has objected to his future boss, Friedrich Merz, on the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. At a Social Democracy conference in Hanover, he said he was never in favor of such delivery: “I never said that.” Although there are good arguments for the delivery of Taurus, he claimed, there are also “many arguments, good arguments against,” and only some of them could be discussed publicly, Handelsblatt reported.
