Sergey Naryshkin, the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), warned NATO on April 15 that in the event of aggression against the Union State of Russia and Belarus, the entire NATO bloc will suffer. At the same time, the SVR director noted that Poland and the Baltic countries would suffer first and foremost, reported TASS today. He was speaking to media in Minsk today.

Poland and the Baltic countries “should understand, but so far they do not understand, that in the event of aggression from the North Atlantic Alliance against the Union State, damage will certainly be inflicted on the entire NATO bloc, but to a greater extent the first to suffer will be the bearers of such ideas among the political circles of Poland and the Baltic countries,” Naryshkin said at a press conference in Minsk.

On April 15, Naryshkin began a visit to Minsk, where he met with the head of Belarus KGB Ivan Tertel and with President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
