Second Round of U.S.-Russia Discussions Concludes in Istanbul

The second sub-ministerial discussions between the U.S. and Russia concluded today in Istanbul. The Russian delegation, headed by Ambassador to Washington. Alexander Darchiev, remained in Istanbul to write a report on the meeting. There was an expectation that the meeting would last two days, but it concluded after the first day. Both sides indicated that the talks were constructive and they will plan for another round in the near future.
