Top British Think Tank Admits European War Mobilization Has Been 'Ineffective'

The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is now lamenting the success of the Russian Defense Ministry compared to that of Europe. In a report issued April 3, the top British think tank has admitted that Russia has been able to significantly ramp up its production of military hardware during the Ukraine conflict, while Western Europe’s defense-industrial base turned out to be “manifestly inadequate,” reported RT.

While NATO’s European members have made major investments into their military industries to arm Ukraine, these have largely proven to be “ineffective,” the report claims. “Russia had a well-developed plan for military-industrial mobilization which it implemented early in the war. Europe, meanwhile, lacked both a plan and the data with which to build one,” RUSI wrote.
