Tucker Carlson: Blind Western Leaders Get 'Populations Vaporized'

Tucker Carlson, interviewing Alex Jones yesterday, bore in on the dangerous fantasy-state of the Western elite, whose members are incapable of recognizing the facts on the ground in Ukraine. “We just lost a war with Russia. The U.S. was running that war—the U.S. military, the Pentagon, State Department, CIA—running the war against Russia. It was not … was never about Ukraine.” To this point, even the New York Times recently has been willing to admit as much.

Carlson said that behind the blindness in American policymakers is an arrogance, an unwillingness to acknowledge that they have “lost a war with Russia” over Ukraine. As reported by RT, Carlson expressed concern that “nobody will say that out loud—that we’re overstating our power.” He likened the U.S. to a divorced 60-year-old man attempting to woo 25-year-old women, oblivious to how absurd and self-humiliating he appears to them. “That’s called hubris, and that’s how empires get destroyed and populations vaporized.”
