Roscosmos and China Space Agency Sign Agreement on Nuclear Station On Moon

Roscosmos and the China National Space Agency signed an agreement that Russia would build a lunar power station as a part of the joint Russia-China International Lunar Research Station (ILRS). Roscosmos specified that fundamental space research will be conducted at the station. The Russian power plant will be an important contribution to the International Scientific Lunar Station project, the creation of which is planned for 2036. Thirteen countries have joined in the Russia-China project.
