Russia Calls UN Security Meeting on European Sabotage of Peace in Ukraine

Russia has called for a UN Security Council meeting to address, as RT reports it, the attempts by EU countries to derail a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict. Dmitry Polyanskiy, Moscow’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, said that the session is expected to take place on May 30 at 10 a.m. EDT, and will center on the “threats to international peace” posed by Kiev’s backers.
