Freshman Congressman Randy Fine (R-FL) said during an interview on Fox News yesterday: “The fact of the matter is the Palestinian cause is an evil one. The only end of the conflict [in Gaza] is complete and total surrender by those who support Muslim terror.” How to do that, he asked? “In World War II, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis. We did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese. We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply, deeply wrong with this culture, and it needs to be defeated.”
What of Fine’s “culture”? The Harvard Business School graduate made his money as a corporate executive working in the casino gambling industry. In 2005, at 31 years of age he founded, and for nearly ten years thereafter operated, a Nevada-based casino industry consulting and management business, called the Fine Point Group, with locations in Florida, Memphis, and Las Vegas. It advised casino operators in Las Vegas, San Diego, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. In 2009, he was the chief executive officer of Detroit’s Greektown Casino.
