AP's Eyewitness Accounts of Gazans Shot by Israeli-Armed Gaza Gangs

Yesterday, yet again, more Gazans willing to risk gunfire, attempting to get some food, were killed. And now, more evidence that the gunfire is not only from Israeli soldiers who say they “sense a threat” from the unarmed civilians, but also from local gangs that Israel has armed. Just when it seemed things could not get worse.

Nasser Hospital reported that it had received 14 bodies from ‘aid-related’ incidents, with many more wounded. AP said that the armed gunmen operate in Rafah in close proximity to the IDF and, when the crowd began throwing stones, they simply retreated into an Israeli military zone.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation still denies that anyone has been shot at their distribution sites, but its Facebook site did report that it closed its Rafah site yesterday due to the “chaos of the crowds.”
