The authorities of Mali have accused France, Great Britain and Ukraine of supporting terrorists who have been carrying out attacks throughout the Sahel.
France and the U.K. “still use other countries, such as Ukraine and other Balkan nations, even Baltic countries, to harm the Sahel countries,” said Fousseynou Ouattara, vice-president of the Security and Defense Commission of Mali’s Transitional Council, speaking to Sputnik Africa on June 5.
“When we neutralize terrorists, we see they have foreign-made equipment and colossal sums of money. We immediately wonder where these large sums could come from.”
