Only days after the outrageous Ukrainian attacks on strategic Russian military infrastructure using over 100 drones in “Operation “Spider Web, French automaker Renault announced that it had been contacted by the French Defense Ministry to look into making drones in Ukraine. “We have been contacted by the Defense Ministry. Exchanges have been made, [but] no decision has been made at this stage because we are waiting on project specifics from the ministry,” a Renault spokesperson told AFP. The drones would be used by the Ukrainian military “but we will also have our own French weapons benefit from constant tactical and operational training in real-world conditions,” French Defense Minister Lecornu said June 6, according to the Moscow Times

Note that several countries are using drones for peaceful purposes:

• Saudi Arabia: In an effort to combat desertification in Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s largest desert landscapes, the Saudi giant oil company Aramco wants to plant native trees using drone planting technology to access the most unreachable areas in the desert.
