The Five Star Movement (M5S) has presented a motion asking Italy’s government to evaluate “possible future collaboration with Russia” to resolve the issue of gas supply.
The M5S asked the government, “as part of achieving a lasting and permanent peaceful solution to the conflict that can no longer be postponed,” to “intensify efforts at the European level to find an effective solution to the issue of gas transit and supply that does not exclude a priori and for the future possible collaboration with Russia,” the motion reads.
