U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has enraged the global majority with his retweet of a photo in the Times of Israel captioned, “Greta Thunberg sets sail with Gaza flotilla that aims to break Israeli naval blockade,” above which he writes, “Hope Greta and her friends can swim!”
Typical of the hundreds, probably thousands, of responses on X is one from Mehdi Hasan, who wrote: “A sitting United States Senator threatened a convoy full of nonviolent activists—including Greta Thunberg—with a bombing. It’s difficult to describe how sociopathic, unhinged, and criminal some of the pro-Israel folks have become.”
