The British-led mainstream media poured out a stream of delusional stories in an attempt to convince Western populations that, miraculously, the course of the war has changed and once again Russia can be defeated, as a result of the Ukraine-NATO drone attacks on nuclear-capable Russian aircraft at airfields in the interior of Russia. Not a single one of these newspapers noted that this desperate action intentionally crossed the red line that Russia announced when its President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on November 19, 2024, updating the government’s formal policy on the possible use of nuclear weapons.
The media, acting as a major integrated part of the war party, has one principal objective: distort reality to keep the war going, despite the growing threat of nuclear annihilation.
On June 2, the New York Times ran an article, “Ukraine Shows It Can Still Flip the Script on How Wars Are Waged.”
The Economist magazine of London goes into an hallucinatory fit with its article, “An Astonishing Raid Deep Inside Russia Rewrites the Rules of War.” It states, “Ukraine’s operations have expanded in range, ambition, and sophistication,” when in fact, as numerous articles and reports have demonstrated that it is the British, French and other European nations that supply the guidance systems and the GPS coordinates for Ukraine to employ weapons it has, especially inside Russia.
The Rupert Murdoch-owned New York Post, in its article, “Ukraine’s Surprise Strike Deep in Russia—An Excellent Way To Push Putin To Talk Peace,” states, “Putin should be losing sleep over what else his minions might be missing. And any Russian patriots looking to save their country from his disastrous misrule can only be emboldened.
