As bombs began raining down upon Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Ozymandius” Netanyahu announced to Iranians, in a video, then posted to X, that the light has come to triumph over the darkness: “I am with you.” He spoke in English, accompanied with Persian subtitles. He promised to free them, no doubt as he is “freeing” Gaza of Palestinians.
“Tonight, I want to speak to you, the esteemed people of Iran. We are in the midst of one of the largest military operations in history—Operation Lions’ Dawn. The Islamic regime, which has oppressed you for almost 50 years, threatens to destroy our country—Israel. The goal of Israel’s operation is to deter the Islamic regime’s nuclear and ballistic missile threats.
“As we achieve our goal, we are also paving the way for you to achieve your freedom. In the past 24 hours, we have destroyed senior military commanders, leading nuclear scientists, the Islamic regime’s most important enrichment facility, and a large part of its ballistic missile arsenal. Another operation is on the way. The regime does not know what power has hit them or what power will hit them. This regime has never been weaker.
