Last night, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio added insult to injury in his defense of the U.S. veto of the UN Security Council resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza, a release of all the hostages, and the immediate restoration of massive humanitarian aid. The UNSC voted 14-1 for the resolution.
Rubio argued that the resolution would undermine “diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire.” One might wonder, how is that going, Mr. Secretary?
