The U.S. military buildup in response to Israel’s war on Iran has continued over the past two days with additional air and naval forces heading towards the region or staging outside the region in support of that buildup.
AP, in a roundup posted yesterday, reported the following developments:
• According to Aurora Intel, an open source intelligence group, the U.S. relocated a dozen F-16s from a base in Italy (Aviano) to Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia.
• The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford will be departing for Europe in a week.
