ABC News spoke to President Donald Trump today. He said that talks with Iran are ongoing and that the Israeli strikes may even have helped to reach an agreement. Asked about U.S. involvement in the conflict, he said: “We’re not involved in it. It’s possible we could get involved. But we are not at this moment involved.”
He responded favorably to the idea of President Vladimir Putin of Russia serving as a mediator: “Yeah, I would be open to it. He is ready. He called me about it. We had a long talk about it. We talked about this more than his situation. This is something I believe is going to get resolved.”
