58 Euro-Parliament Members Urge EU Action To Prevent Israeli Annexation

In a July 28 letter to EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative for Foreign Relations Kaja Kallas, 58 members of the European Parliament have urged action to force Israel to respect the International Court of Justice’s assessment in its July 19, 2024 Advisory Opinion that Israel’s prolonged occupation has become unlawful. The letter is a response to a Knesset vote on July 23 alleging the lawfulness of the annexation of Palestine territory.
