Council on American-Islamic Relations: Will Trump Defend Americans Killed by Israelis?

After the July 11 beating to death by Israeli settlers in the West Bank of an American citizen of Palestinian extraction, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called on Washington to step in and protect American citizens, including Palestinian-Americans, from being murdered. Its deputy director Edward Ahmed Mitchell stated: “Every other murder of an American citizen has gone unpunished by the American government, which is why the Israeli government keeps wantonly killing American Palestinians and, of course, other Palestinians.” The brutal death of Saifullah Musallet of Tampa, Florida, apparently has been preceded by at least eight other such killings of Americans since 2022.

Mitchell said: “If President Trump will not even put America first when Israel murders American citizens, then this is truly an Israel First administration.”
