5,000 Workers To March on Major German Tech Firm ZF

A victim of the Green Deal-induced collapse of the automotive sector in Germany, the management of automotive supplier ZF, one of Europe’s leading technology firms, has announced pay cuts of well over 5% for the workforce. The cuts have been discussed at recent ZF board meetings.

A march of 5,000 workers is to take place on July 29 at the headquarters of ZF in Friedrichshafen. The decision to demonstrate comes after yesterday’s drastic cost-cutting measures became public. They are to hit the commercial vehicle division in Friedrichshafen. The factory council of workers has broken with the management.
