The German weekly newspaper, Demokratischer Widerstand (“Democratic Resistance”), published post-Berlin conference interviews with Helga Zepp-LaRouche and German Armed Forces Retired Major Florian D. Pfaff
Anselm Lenz and Alexandra Motschmann interviewed Zepp-LaRouche and Major Pfaff on the sidelines of the Berlin Schiller Institute conference for the print and online newspaper Demokraticher Widerstand.
Anselm Lenz had interviewed Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche before. Alexandra Motschmann is a regular participant of the International Peace Coalition meetings, and she was also involved in organizing the anti-Merz, anti-Taurus rally in Schrobenhausen.
In the print issue, dated Saturday, July 19, the two interviews filled two pages of the ten-page newspaper.
The interview with Helga Zepp-LaRouche appears under the title “Man Is Not a Wolf to Man.” After going through the origin of the conference title and stating that Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche organized a peace conference with high-level international speakers, she is asked if she thought the conference was a success. She replied that she thinks that the conference was a success, first by conveying “a way for Europe out of the geopolitical hell.” The alternative to ReArm Europe (re)militarization that will end in war is to work with the Global South which is ready to end 500 years of colonialism. Germany and Europe can work with the BRICS nations in Joint Ventures for the industrialization of Africa in areas of electrification, development of infrastructure, and such game-changing projects that will develop water and energy supply. Second, closely related, is that Zepp-LaRouche believes that the only way to overcome the geopolitical crisis is to establish a new international security and development architecture. Asked for reference points, Zepp-LaRouche talks about her Ten Principles, and the Chinese Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. Asked why she chose to have the conference in a theater and not in the Sanssouci castle, she replied that she liked the atmosphere in the theater better, and that the hosts are like-minded people.
Lenz said that he had interviewed Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche via phone in 2018 (it was actually 2017). The interview appeared in the print version of TAZ (helga-junge-welt-pdf.pdf) but was purged from their online edition. He wonders why that had happened. Mrs. Zepp-LaRouche replied that, now in 2025, it happens to everyone who is not repeating the NATO narrative.
