Israel’s public broadcaster KAN reports that Foreign Minister Gideon Saar summoned Dutch Ambassador to Israel Mireille Schuurman on July 29, regarding her country’s travel ban on two far-right Israeli government ministers, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. According to Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansi, on July 28 Netherlands declared the two persona non grata over their repeated calls for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
