Sen. Lindsey Graham Insists, Not Enough Force Has Been Applied to Gaza: Level the Place

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) made clear today his simple-minded message for President Donald Trump: Gaza has not been fully leveled, so let’s finish the job. The state’s senior senator, who apparently has never met a war he didn’t like, said out loud what he might have thought he was only thinking. In his interview with NBC News moderator Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press,” he stated:

“I think President Trump has come to believe, and I certainly have come to believe, there’s no way you’re going to negotiate an end of this war with Hamas.… I think Israel’s come to conclude that they can’t achieve a goal of ending the war with Hamas that would be satisfactory to the safety of Israel and that they’re going to do in Gaza what we did in Tokyo and Berlin, take the place by force then start over again, presenting a better future for the Palestinians, hopefully having the Arabs take over the West Bank and Gaza.” He repeated, for those who might have wanted not to take him seriously: “But I think going forward, Kristen, you’re going to see a change in tactics, a full military effort by Israel to take Gaza down, like we did in Tokyo and Berlin.”
