In a motion presented at the Bundestag already on Nov. 11, 2024, the AfD parliamentary group calls for an international commission of experts to be set up at the United Nations to investigate the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, which has had a serious impact on energy prices and energy security. “The attack on the Nord Stream pipelines on September 26, 2022, was the largest attack on German infrastructure since 1945,” the MPs wrote (20/13811).
“The applicants want to rule out any influence, from whatever side, that could delay, hinder, or prevent the investigation into the Nord Stream attack from being completed.”
