Alastair Crooke Moots Possibility of Putin-Xi-Trump Meeting on Sept. 3

In an Aug. 18 interview with Judge Napolitano, former British diplomat Alastair Crooke said: “They (Putin and Trump) are beginning to talk about the Big Picture. I have always said where Putin would be going, to talk about nuclear issues, the treaty and the Arctic, and he did. On the eve before Trump went off, Putin issued an executive order defining Exxon’s interest in a particular field in the Arctic. I think both of them see a bigger perspective.… What is the next meeting coming up, or may be coming up?... The beginning of September is the 80th anniversary of the Japanese surrender. They are celebrating that in Beijing, and Putin is going, Xi is obviously going. And it is suggested that Trump will be invited.”
