Armenian and Azerbaijani Leaders To Sign Agreement in Washington, D.C.

On July 10, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held their first bilateral meeting. The subject of the peace talks was the opening of the Zangezur Corridor, which runs through Armenia, connecting the two territories of Azerbaijan. The corridor borders on both Türkiye and Iran. One part of the discussion is to have the area secured by American contractors.
