Brazilian News Hour Features Report on Zepp-LaRouche Bering Strait Tunnel Proposal for Trump-Putin Summit

The August 13 edition of a weekly Brazilian online news round-up show, “The Thread of History,” hosted by Luiz Erthal of “Toda Palavra” [Every Word], devoted its opening segments to the theme, “War or Peace: Expectations for the Meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska.” After a brief introduction by Erthal, the first segment was a five-minute report from Schiller Institute and LaRouche Organization (TLO) organizer Tim Rush, speaking earlier that day live on Capitol Hill with the Capitol in the background. Rush said he was part of an eight-person LaRouche Movement team distributing a special packet to the offices of all 435 members of the House of Representatives, and the 100 members of the Senate. The packet led with the letter from Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, headlined “Zepp-LaRouche Calls on Trump, Putin, and Xi: The Bering Strait Tunnel Project Is the Perfect War-Avoidance Policy.” It included a QR code to access eight articles in Executive Intelligence Review describing the history and character of the project, and two items identifying the British role in trying to sabotage the summit and prevent the United States and Russia from collaborating for peace and development, going back 80 years. The packet included the full, 12-page TLO dossier, “Worse than Treason: The Actual Motive Behind Russiagate.”
