DNI Gabbard Strips Security Clearance for 37 ‘Russiagate’ Conspirators

U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard shook rotten elements in the intelligence community when she announced Aug. 18 that she was removing the security clearances of 37 former and current national security officials accused of abusing public trust “by politicizing and manipulating information.” Almost all of the 37 had played a role in creating the fraudulent 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) ordered by President Barack Obama claiming that Russia interfered in the 2016 election on Donald Trump’s behalf.

Gabbard is taking no prisoners on this issue. As she stated in an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Aug. 19, to protect the national security of the United States it is necessary to “clean the Deep State out of our intelligence agencies.” She also slammed the role of the media which she said are part of the Deep State propaganda machinery. With Attorney General Pam Bondi moving forward with federal Grand Jury investigations into key Russiagate players—former DNI James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey—she said, the first steps are being taken to demand accountability in defense of “our democratic republic.”
