Italian Gen. Fabio Mini (ret.) called the European attempt at sabotaging the Trump peace effort in Ukraine, “tragicomic.”
“Since President Trump replaced the main player in the game,” Mini wrote today in an article for Il Fatto Quotidiano “and, as he had announced, set the game according to his own rules, Ukrainians, Europeans and half of America have targeted him with a smear campaign. The aim is not to resolve the conflict, but to continue it, at all cost, with extraordinary short-sightedness not only about the nature and amount of the cost, but also about the war potential of Europe and the U.S.
