New EU and German Draft Laws for a Surveillance State

It is true that the world is divided between “authoritarian” and “democratic” states; however, not the way the EU/NATO narrative claims, but the other way around. It is the European “garden” that is turning authoritarian, and not the “jungle” outside (copyright Borrell). A look at the draft legislation of the EU Commission and of the German government provides evidence for that.

“Democracy Shield” In Progress

The EU Commission plans to introduce a censorship mechanism called “Democracy Shield” by the end of this year. Preparations are advanced, but according to some petitioners, there is still time to block it. According to CitizensGo, under the rule of the Democracy Shield:

Internet “Platforms may be required to block content that criticizes EU policies.

“Artificial intelligence systems are being trained to automatically filter out opinions labeled as ‚dangerous,‘ such as opposition to mass immigration, same-sex ‚marriage‘, abortion, or teaching progressive gender ideology to children in schools.

“And a select network of ‘fact-checkers’ worth €5.69 million (the European Fact-Checking Standards Network) has been created to enforce all this, especially during the election season.”

German Draft Law For A Surveillance State

The German Interior Ministry has drafted a proposal to “modernize the federal police law,” which sounds like a German version of the Patriot Act on steroids. Author Christina Maas at reclaimthenet.org, who has read the 170-page report, describes the main features of the planned police law:

“At the top of the proposal’s wish list: suspicion‑free device hacking. Federal police would get the green light to plant ‘state trojans,’ their charming term for government‑built malware, into your phone or computer.”
