Norway Orders Review of Sovereign Wealth Fund's Investments in Israel

Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, worth nearly $2 trillion, holds investments in thousands of companies worldwide, equal, when calculated a few years ago, to about 1.5% of the total market cap of all listed companies on Earth.

But its holdings in Israeli firms are now in question.

The fund “shall not be invested in companies that contribute to states’ violations of international law,” read a press release from Norway’s Ministry of Finance.
