Report: ICC Arrest Warrant Applications Ready for Israel's Ben-Gvir and Smotrich

Two deputy prosecutors at the International Criminal Court have prepared arrest warrants against both Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for the crime of apartheid, Middle East Eye reported in an exclusive yesterday. However, the warrants have not been submitted to the court due, according to inside sources, because of threats from both the U.S. and Israel. “Those applications for the arrest warrants are completely done,” an ICC source told MEE. “The only thing that didn’t happen was submitting them to the court,” the source said on condition of anonymity.
