U.S. Medics Working in Gaza Invite Witkoff To Visit and Witness Starvation

An NBC report today is accompanied by graphic heart-wrenching videos from U.S. doctors and a nurse working at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, who had invited U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to visit them while he is in Gaza touring a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation site (GHF), and see for himself the horrifying reality of the deliberate starvation of Palestinians.

After examining emaciated babies, Dr. Tom Adamkiewicz told NBC that “these children are in very bad, life-threatening conditions, so this is absolutely unacceptable. There are children who are starving here. I’ve seen them with my own eyes. Apparently Mr. Witkoff is going to be here, not too far away…. I would invite him to come here and see for himself what is happening here.” Nurse Elidalis Burgos invited Witkoff to come “and take a look for yourself. Don’t believe what other people tell you … take a look with your own eyes. Come into Nasser … walk around, into the ICU and take a look at the patients and see that what is really happening is a forced starvation of an entire population … this is a man-made disaster that is designed this way to hurt the entire population. So, come and look for yourself to open your heart and open your eyes so you can see the truth.”

NBC saturated its visit: “Israel on Sunday announced measures to allow more aid into Gaza amid mounting global outrage over rising deaths from starvation. Since then, GHF has continued to distribute about 1.2 million meals a day, according to data shared by the organization. In a population of roughly 2.1 million people, that equates to just over half a meal per person per day on average…. Since late May, more than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed while seeking food, with 859 deaths in the vicinity’ of GHF sites and 514 along the routes of food convoys,” NBC reported, citing a release issued by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on July 30 which reportedly said that most of the killings were committed by the Israeli military.
