Ushakov Indicates Format and Participants in Trump-Putin Meeting

Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said that the meeting between President Trump and President Putin would occur tomorrow at 11:30 local Alaska time, according to RIA. There would first be a one-on-one between the two presidents, followed by a meeting of the two delegations. The meeting of the delegations will be in a 5-to-5 format. Included on the Russian delegation are Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation, Kirill Dimitriev. On the U.S. side will be Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, and Presidential Envoy, Steve Witkoff. In addition to the delegation representatives, a group of experts will also be at the negotiations, according to Ushakov.
