AOC and Others Cancel Public Events in Wake of Kirk Assassination

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) postponed an upcoming rally in North Carolina citing security concerns and out of respect for Charlie Kirk. She told reporters she was aware that she had to take a certain amount of risk, “but it is about the fact that the security protocols and the ways we think about it and conceive of it are for a bygone time. They’re not designed for stochastic time.”
