British Ambassador to U.S. Revealed To Have Fawned over Jeffrey Epstein

While Democrats and Republicans squabble over which faction deserves more blame for Jeffrey Epstein, RT chose to highlight, from this week’s release of more material by the House Oversight Committee, the uncomfortable 10-page paean on the glories of Epstein, written in 2003 by the present British Ambassador to Washington Peter Mandelson, known to his friends and some amorous acquaintances throughout the years as “Randy Mandy.” The occasion was a “birthday book” as Epstein turned 50, organized by Ghislaine Maxwell.

Mandelson’s contribution was a handwritten 10-page letter, including photos of both Epstein and Mandelson. He described how Epstein had “once upon a time … parachuted” into his life. “You would spend many hours just waiting for him to turn up.… And often, no sooner were you used to having him around, you would suddenly be alone again.… Leaving you with some ‘interesting’ friends to entertain instead…. But wherever he is in the world, he remains my best pal! Happy Birthday, Jeffrey. We love you!!”

RT reported that a Downing Street spokesperson, asked about the fawning 10-page letter, said that Prime Minister Keir Starmer continued to have confidence in Mandelson, who has “played a key part” in strengthening trade and investment ties with Washington.
