It was even worse than the expected bizarre horror show, with a man found by the United Nations to be conducting genocide exercising his allotted 15-minute address for Israel at the UN General Assembly. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slowly, deliberately, sadistically drew out his bizarre fantasy world for a full 75 minutes. He had no more concern for his time slot, exceeding it by over an hour, than he has had for any other finding or directive from the UN regarding the starvation, mass killings of women and children and dismantling of the UN’s aid operation.
As Netanyahu approached the podium, almost every delegation in the world stood up and walked out of the auditorium, quietly and dignified, leaving him to address a handful that remained. He had prepared for this by stacking the gallery with supporters, applauding, whistling and cheering for him—with the chair repeatedly trying to call them to order.
Netanyahu then held forth:
There is no starvation in Gaza. Israel has provided 3,000 calorie/day diets for everyone for the last two years. Any deficiencies that have arisen stem from Hamas stealing 85% of the aid.
Israel has kept “the barbarians at the gate” away from the West, but their leaders are “gutless,” bowing down to an anti-Semitic media who repeat “blood libels.” On Oct. 7, “They beheaded men. They raped women. They burned babies, alive. They burned babies alive in front of their parents.
“This past June, when Israel struck Iran’s nuclear facilities, German Chancellor Mertz admitted the truth. He said, ‘Israel is doing the dirty work for all of us'.... You know deep down that Israel is fighting your fight. I want to tell you a secret. Behind closed doors, many of the leaders who publicly condemn us, privately thank us.
