Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, who was himself the victim of an assassination attempt on May 15, 2024, responded on X to the news about Charlie Kirk’s assassination: “CHARLIE KIRK, LIKE ME, HAD A DIFFERENT OPINION. SO HE HAD TO BE SHOT. Many people asked me during the day whether I would react to the murder of Charlie Kirk, a supporter of U.S. President D. Trump. Well, what can I say? If you don’t hold the one mandatory ‘correct’ opinion demanded by progressives or liberals, then you must be shot. Unlike Kirk, I was a millimeter luckier.”
