Trump Comments on Foreign Investment in U.S. Run Counter to ICE Action in Georgia

U.S. President Donald Trump seems to be trying to strike a conciliatory tone with international investors in the U.S. who have been scared off by the Sept. 6 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid on a factory under construction in Georgia.

“When Foreign Companies who are building extremely complex products, machines, and various other ‘things,’ come into the United States with massive Investments, I want them to bring their people of expertise for a period of time to teach and train our people how to make these very unique and complex products,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
