After Midnight, Israeli Cabinet Finally Approves Ceasefire Deal

More than seven hours after Israel’s security began their deliberations, and shortly after midnight local time, the full Israeli cabinet approved the ceasefire deal. It was done with U.S. special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner sitting at the table.

For the next five days, 400 trucks/day of food and other aid are to pour into Gaza. After that, the full 600 trucks/day agreed to is supposed to commence. Over the next three days, an Israeli military withdrawal to where they control only 47% of Gaza is to be achieved as the 20 live Israeli hostages are to be released.
