Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund and Kremlin envoy, has arrived in the U.S. for official talks, just days after U.S. President Donald Trump imposed new sanctions on Moscow. Dmitriev said that the visit was “planned a while ago based on an invitation from the U.S. side.”
Dmitriev is expected to meet Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff in Florida on Saturday, Oct. 25, to discuss U.S.-Russia relations following sanctions on Rosneft and Lukoil, Russia’s largest oil companies.
