Corporate Insolvencies in Germany Highest Since 2015

The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce is on red alert: according to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office, there was a 10.4% increase in regular insolvency filings in September compared with the same month last year. Since the insolvency courts still have to decide whether to open proceedings, the actual figures are not available until the end of the year.
